Industrial Salt

Industrial salt is a raw, high purity form of sodium chloride (NaCl) used for manufacturing, chemical processing, and municipal infrastructure. It is unsafe for human consumption. Chlor-alkali plants produce chlorine gas, caustic soda, and soda ash. It is often used in water treatment, road de-icing, and oil & gas treatment.

Our minimum order quantity is 15 tons and maximum is 25 tons. We use sea shipping lines to deliver our salt to our valued customers in different countries. Manufacturing time is 2 to 3 weeks and delivery will be 30 days depending upon destination. The delivery time may vary according to destination.

Types & Applications of Industrial Salt

Rock Salt

Mined from underground deposits using mechanical or blasting methods, commonly used for road de-icing and water softening.

Evaporated Salt

Also known as vacuum salt, produced by evaporating purified brine, resulting in a fine, high-purity crystal ideal for pharmaceutical and food-grade use.

Solar Salt

Produced through natural evaporation of seawater in open fields, widely used in water treatment and chemical processing industries.

Sea Salt

The unprocessed, raw form of industrial salt, typically used in low-spec applications or further reprocessed for industrial purposes.

Water Softening (WSS00001)

Rock Salt and Solar Salt are widely used in water softening systems to regenerate ion-exchange resins. By removing calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness, these salts help protect pipes, appliances, and plumbing systems from scale buildup, extending their lifespan.

De-icing Highways (DHS00002)

Rock Salt plays a critical role in winter road maintenance. By lowering the freezing point of water, it effectively melts snow and ice on highways, ensuring safer driving conditions and reducing accident risks during the colder months.

Chemical Manufacturing (CMS00003)

Evaporated Salt serves as a foundational raw material in the chemical industry. It is a primary source of chlorine and sodium, used extensively in the production of caustic soda, soda ash, and a wide range of other industrial chemicals.

Animal Hide Tanning (ATS00004)

Sea Salt and Rock Salt are commonly used as curing agents in the leather industry. They draw moisture out of animal hides, preventing bacterial decay and preparing the material for the subsequent tanning process.

Oil & Gas Drilling (OGS00005)

Industrial-grade salt is a vital component in drilling fluids used across the oil and gas sector. It helps stabilize the borehole structure and control subsurface pressure during drilling operations.

Textile Dyeing (TDS00006)

High-purity Evaporated Salt acts as an electrolyte in textile dyeing processes. It promotes even absorption and fixation of dye onto fabric fibers, resulting in consistent, long-lasting color quality.
